Jennifer Crotty RN, MA, CPNP

Jen Crotty, CPNP, is the inpatient Nurse Practitioner for the Division of Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery at New York-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. Jen works closely with the orthopedic team to manage patient medical care, anticipate discharge needs and provide post-operative education to patients and parents. Jen also manages quality improvement and patient safety within the Division of Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery.

Jen’s responsibilities as the inpatient Pediatric Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner are to streamline the care for the post-operative orthopedic patients from the time of surgery through discharge, including coordinating care and ensuring good communication amongst the multidisciplinary teams involved in our patients’ unique care.

Jen Crotty has over 15 years of experience as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.  Prior to joining the Division of Pediatric Orthopedics, she was a PNP in the division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant and an RN at NYU Langone Medical Center and the Neurosurgical Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Beth Israel North Medical Center.

Jen graduated with a Bachelor degree in Nursing from the University of Rochester and worked as an RN at NYU Langone Medical Center. She completed her Master’s Degree in Nursing at NYU. Jen is a graduate of the GNYHA/UHF Clinical Quality Fellowship Program where she completed a capstone project on improving pediatric post-operative pain management.
