The 2nd Annual Safety in Spine Surgery Month, which Michael Vitale, MD chairs, kicks off in April. This month-long event includes a series of resources and live webinars that are dedicated to the vision of S3P (Safety in Spine Surgery Project). Specifically, S3P is committed to 1. Improving quality and reliability; 2. Preventing unnecessary utilization; and 3. Advocating for adoption of best practices in spine surgery with stakeholders.
