Trella is a lecturer of Clinical Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine (Physical Therapy) at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and is a Physical Therapist for the Columbia Physical Therapy Faculty Practice. As a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, she specializes in delivering individualized physical therapy treatment to patients of all ages with a wide range of musculoskeletal and spine injuries, with an additional specialization in BSPTS and SEAS for the non-operative and post-surgical care for scoliosis in adolescents and adults.
In addition to her experience in physical therapy, Trella has accumulated over 1,000 hours of yoga teacher training certifications. As a result, Trella is an avid enthusiast about the mind-body connection and integrates her experiences in both physical therapy and yoga into many of her treatment plans in patient care.
